While pursuing a marketing degree, I enlightened with Social Media Marketing term. My curiosity led me to read blogs and do a search on Social Media Marketing.

In order to acquire this skill, I decided to start with the Facebook page for practicing Social Media Marketing, but I landed with the main problem that every non-designer would face i.e, How can I create good and alluring Facebook creative to post on my page?

Creating pro graphic design, visuals or creatives with ease is not everyone's cup of tea. It's costlier and also back-breaking for non-designers to use graphics designing tools like Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw.

And then one of my friend suggested me to try the Canva website, and finally found a solution to my design creation problem

1. Sign up using Facebook, email or Gmail account or login with your existing account.

 4. The next step is the type of design that you wanted to make. For example, select the Facebook post and start a new design. When you open a new design, you can see many tabs on the left side.

The first tab you can see is the Templates tab. Canva already created a no. of templates you can use for a design you wanted to make. So if we go ahead and click on one its added to a page.

Under the Photo tab in the Elements tab, they have provided various folders such as Grid, Charts, Stickers and many more.

Next is the Text tab, you're able to add text directly to your page or use one of the free text placeholders that already been designed.

If you click the Background Tab, you're able to see add a solid color background, pattern background or stocked images and set is as a background.

In the Uploads tab, you can upload image files by clicking on upload images and then use those in your design.

Further, you can see a tab of Folders where you can create a folder as per your preferences and the last tab is More, it has various apps like Giphy, Pexels, Youtube and more that you can add those in your tab list and also can remove them

In each tab, there is a search bar where you can search for things related to tabs that you looking for.

Let's go ahead and actually create a design by yourself.while editing a design you even can create a transparency element with photo and you can also edit the placements of elements of the post.

5. After creating a design as you want, the process of downloading a post is very easy. There are various formats for downloading a design like PNG, animation, video, etc. and also you can directly share the design to your Facebook page or on Twitter and other social media platforms.

And that's it!

Similarly, you can create an Instagram post, Youtube thumbnails, WhatsApp story and other posts for various social media platforms as per their set of policies and dimensions or even you can set the background image to your website pages directly from Canva.
